Presented by Collective Minds alongside Thugshop; the collective known for shaping forward-thinking club culture and bringing world-class electronic artists to the heart of the city, and UMAMI; a Hong Kong-based underground event series known for their immersive electronic experiences that connect cutting-edge international artists with the local dance community, Yung Singh B2B ryota connects two powerful individuals from the music scene together. The back-to-back format allows both artists to respond, challenge and inspire one another on the dancefloor, creating a dynamic exchange of sound that evolves moment by moment.

Yung Singh is a DJ and curator whose rise has been marked by viral club moments, a BBC Radio 1 residency, and his DJ Mag Breakthrough DJ of the Year recognition in 2021. Fusing UK garage, bass, hip-hop and Punjabi influences, Yung Singh has become a defining voice in contemporary club culture, while playing a key role in re-energising British South Asian dance music through both his sets and wider cultural projects. His Boiler Room Melbourne set, which quickly became one of his most-watched performances online amassing 1.6 million views to date. The set captured the full force of his genre-fluid style and cemented his reputation as one of the most explosive selectors in contemporary club culture. Beyond the dancefloor, Yung Singh’s work consistently champions South Asian representation in music, bridging heritage and innovation with global club energy.

Joining him is ryota, the leading force within Japan’s underground music movement and co-founder of Osaka’s influential FULLHOUSE collective, widely credited for shaping the city’s youth-driven club scene. Known for his genre-fluid blend of UK garage, bass music and breakbeat, ryota has gained international attention through standout appearances across major broadcast platforms and cultural collaborations, including Spotify Japan’s VIP programme, Diesel × NTS Radio, Rinse FM (London) and BBC Radio 6 Music’s Sweatbox Mix. His global profile was further amplified through his recent Boiler Room Tokyo performance with FULLHOUSE, which has amassed over 1.7 million views to date. The show was cemented as a landmark set that brought Japan’s next-generation underground movement to a global audience, firmly establishing him as one of the country’s most visible underground exports.
