Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace Successfully Host Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2025 Awards Ceremony

The Foundry is proud to have partnered with Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace as they played host to Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2025 — marking the first time this prestigious awards ceremony was held in Macau. As Official Host Partner, Wynn welcomed the global bar community with a dazzling program of events from July 11 to 16, culminating in a red-carpet celebration of the region’s most exceptional talent in hospitality and mixology.

Held on July 15 in the spectacular Wynn Palace Grand Theatre, the awards ceremony brought together bartenders, chefs, drinks professionals and media from across the globe to celebrate the best of Asia’s bar scene. From pre-ceremony tastings to post-awards revelry, Wynn delivered a multi-day experience that captured the energy, creativity and craftsmanship of modern cocktail culture.

In the lead-up to the big night, guests were treated to an array of immersive, drinks-focused events. The Bartenders’ Feast, a cherished industry tradition, was hosted at the Wynn Palace Event Marquee and featured signature cocktails by Wing Lei Bar, Tell Camellia and Bar US. Meet the Bartenders offered global media the opportunity to engage with Asia’s top bartenders in an intimate, behind-the-scenes setting. The week wrapped with an exuberant Closing Party at Fontana, overlooking Wynn’s iconic Performance Lake, where the cocktail flowed alongside bites from Wing Lei Bar, Cosmo Pony and The Curator, and even a traditional dragon’s beard candy cart from Macau’s legendary Yau Kei Candy.

Throughout the week, more than 25 curated guest shifts, chef collaborations and bar takeovers transformed Wynn’s dining and cocktail spaces into a showcase of world-class hospitality. Programme highlights included:

• Inventors’ Laboratory: Industry legends Julio Bermejo (Tommy’s Margarita) and Sam Ross (Penicillin, Paper Plane) led an evening of iconic cocktails and new creations.

• North American West Coast Road Trip: Featuring powerhouse bars Laowai, Thunderbolt, and Pacific Cocktail Haven in a cross-border cocktail journey.

• Aperitivo Canto by Campari: A stylish Italian-inspired takeover at Wing Lei Bar featuring guest bartenders from Bar Sathorn, Opium, Moebius, Idle Hands, and more — paired with fusion bites by Chef Tam Kwok Fung.

• The Best of British: A tribute to UK cocktail excellence with Wing Lei Bar, Schofield’s Bar, Kwãnt Mayfair and Hey Palu at Palace Reserve Club.
