Intercell Brings Amsterdam’s Underground Energy to Singapore & Hong Kong This November

Collective Minds brings Mall Grab, Skin On Skin, Effy, and Osmosis Jones to the region.

This November, Collective Minds Asia, in collaboration with UMAMI, brings the raw energy of Amsterdam’s electronic underground to Asia as acclaimed events collective and global music platform Intercell arrives in Singapore and Hong Kong for two monumental shows. 

Founded in 2015 from an illegal rave on Amsterdam’s fringes, Intercell has grown into one of electronic music’s most distinctive independent platforms, known for its industrial settings, artist-curated takeovers, unexpected back-to-backs and immersive approach to sound. The twin-city showcase begins at Pasir Panjang Power Station in Singapore on Saturday, 21 November 2026, transforming the former industrial landmark’s soaring ceilings, exposed framework and cavernous halls into an expansive electronic-music arena. 

The following night, Collective Minds joins forces with Hong Kong underground event collective UMAMI to bring Intercell to AquaBeat on Sunday, 22 November 2026, where the open-air venue and Kwun Tong waterfront provide a striking counterpoint to the raw industrial scale of its Singapore setting.

Leading the programme are Australian electronic heavyweight Mall Grab, South Sudanese-Australian DJ and producer Skin On Skin, UK rave innovator Effy, and Melbourne garage selector Osmosis Jones, bringing together sounds spanning house, techno, UK garage, acid, breaks and bass. Joining them are specially curated local pairings Hammy B2B HBN in Singapore and Sleepy B2B Ray in Hong Kong, connecting Intercell’s international identity with the artists and communities shaping club culture across the region. 

A Line-up Connecting Multiple Generations of Club Culture 

Mall Grab

At the head of the line-up is Mall Grab, the Australian-born producer and DJ whose genre-defying sound has moved from hazy house beginnings into a powerful collision of techno, breaks, electro, jungle and hardcore energy. 

Since emerging in 2015, Mall Grab—the alias of Jordon Alexander—has developed one of contemporary dance music’s most recognisable identities. His releases, DJ sets and Looking For Trouble label have helped shape a new generation of rave culture, while his debut album, What I Breathe, expanded his sound through collaborations with artists including Nia Archives, D Double E, Novelist and Turnstile’s Brendan Yates.

Skin On Skin

Joining him is Skin On Skin, the South Sudanese-Australian producer whose progressive blend of techno, house, alternative hip-hop and hard-hitting 808s has made him a global dance-music favourite. After breaking through with Multiply on Steel City Dance Discs in 2019, he launched Stay On Sight Recordings and delivered the global club anthem Burn Dem Bridges in 2022. 

He has since appeared at leading clubs and festivals around the world, with high-energy B2Bs alongside Skrillex, Kettama and Mall Grab further cementing his reputation as a commanding live presence. With sold-out headline tours spanning Australia, Asia-Pacific, Europe and the Americas, Skin On Skin has firmly established himself as one of contemporary club music’s most dynamic names.

DJ Effy

British producer and DJ Effy has quickly become one of the most compelling voices in UK club music, bringing a contemporary edge to acid house, techno, electro, breaks and UK bass. Since debuting with Fluffy Clouds in 2020, she has secured a Rinse FM residency, sold out headline tours across Europe, Australia and North America, and performed at institutions including Fabric, The Warehouse Project, Parklife and Amnesia Ibiza, alongside support appearances for Helena Hauff and Honey Dijon. 

Her releases Not Yours and The Highest Level accelerated that rise, followed by iluv, her acclaimed collaboration with Mall Grab and the first release from their jointly founded label, Fragrance Recordings. Her latest EP, The Syndicate, pays tribute to her formative years in Blackpool while connecting the nostalgia of British rave culture with Effy’s forceful modern bass sound.

Osmosis Jones

Completing the international bill is Melbourne-based producer and DJ Osmosis Jones, whose playful, soulful approach to speed garage and UK garage has made him one of Australia’s fastest-rising club exports. 

Known for combining warm basslines and nostalgic garage rhythms with unexpected R&B and hip-hop vocals, Osmosis Jones has developed a sound designed for dancers who refuse to stay in one lane. Alongside an expanding international touring schedule, he runs INTHEHOUSE Records, a label dedicated to supporting the new generation of Australian garage producers. 

Bringing each city’s local scene into focus, Hammy B2B HBN will represent Singapore, pairing Hammy’s hypnotic blend of dub, breaks, electro and psychedelic warmth with the UKG, baile funk and bass-heavy selections of Last Saturdays co-founder HBN. In Hong Kong, UMAMI mainstay Sleepy teams up with Ray for a B2B moving through groove-led house, Italo and progressive sounds into UK garage and bass. Together, the pairings place the distinct energy of each city’s artists and dance community at the heart of the Intercell experience. 

Each edition will express Intercell’s identity through the character of its host city, venue, local artists and dance community. From the industrial scale of Pasir Panjang Power Station to AquaBeat’s waterfront setting, Collective Minds and Hong Kong collaborator UMAMI Events will connect Intercell’s warehouse spirit with Asia’s evolving club culture, creating two distinctive environments built around sound, movement and collective release.
