Campari Group will celebrate the World's 50 Best Bars 2025 with showstopping events in Hong Kong

Campari Group is thrilled to announce an exhilarating series of events in celebration of The World's 50 Best Bars 2025 awards ceremony, taking place in Hong Kong next month. The World's 50 Best Bars is a prestigious event that highlights the best and most innovative cocktail culture from around the globe, uniting global hospitality professionals, media and brands to honor excellence in the drinks industry.

With this year marking the first time the awards will land in Hong Kong, and only its second time in Asia, Campari will host a dynamic lineup of events on October 5th, 6th and 7th, showcasing the incredible talents of Asia's vibrant hospitality community ahead of the 8th October ceremony. Expect an array of engaging gatherings featuring celebrated bartenders, delightful cocktail creations and a true celebration of drinks craftsmanship, all with a generous serve of signature Campari flair.

On October 5 from 12 PM to 1:30 PM, the series kicks off with Agave Conversation: How Agave is Used in Cocktails at COA Hong Kong (No.18, The World’s 50 Best Bars 2024). This panel discussion will feature renowned agave experts Dr Iván Saldaña (Master Blender of Montelobos & Acho Reyes), Freddy Andreasson, co-founder of El Gallo Altanero in Guadalajara (No.71, The World’s 50 Best Bars 2025 51-100 list) , and Jay Khan (co-founder of COA Hong Kong and COA Shanghai), with Andrew Davis (Co-Founder of mezcal mission) as a moderator, they will share their insights and passion for this diverse spirits category.

Following the panel, stick around from 2 PM to 3:30 PM for an Exclusive Tasting Session with Dr Iván Saldaña to sample the full range of Montelobos and delve deeper into the world of agave spirits. In collaboration with Mezcal Mission the event is priced at HK$250 per person, all proceeds from the event will go directly to Impact Hong Kong to help fund the charity's projects, which mission is to work with people experiencing homelessness to help them settle in a safe home, restore their mental and physical wellbeing.

Later that day, from 4 PM to 7 PM, experience Campari Hospitality Takeover by Asian Talents at The Green Door. The event promises a journey through some of the region’s most exciting bar scenes and their associated local flavors and ingredients, traversed via world-class technique and storytelling. Guest bartenders include Phoebe Han, founder of Shanghai’s Healer (50 Best Discovery); Supawit 'Palm' Muttarattana, co-founder of Bangkok’s Drywave Cocktail Studio (No.88, The World’s 50 Best Bars 2025 51-100 list); and Mitzar Lee from Seoul’s Le Chamber (No. 50, Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2025) – each will be ready with drinks crafted to surprise, delight and inspire.

On October 6 , Campari x Bourke’s presents G’Day Hong Kong by Australian Talents, running from 3 PM until midnight. This high-energy celebration will feature refreshing drinks, upbeat tunes and a showcase of Campari cocktails – Aussie style! Catch Aled Burt with Bourke's Showcase from 3 PM to 6 PM; Evan Strove and Andie Bulley from The Warratah in Darlinghurst (50 Best Discovery) from 6 PM to 8 PM; Dre Walters, Adam Cork and Callum Marra from Old Love’s in Sydney (50 Best Discovery) from 8 PM to 10 PM; and Kax Kite and Jordan Grocock from Cantina OK! in Sydney (No.96, The World's 50 Best Bars 2024 51-100 list) from 10 PM to midnight alongside beats from a live DJ.

Additionally, from 6 PM to 9 PM, indulge in the South America Showcase: Bar El Gallo Altanero Takeover (No.71, The World’s 50 Best Bars 2025 51-100 list) at COA Hong Kong. Co-founder Freddy Andreasson will offer a taste of the Guadalajara bar’s innovative drinks, with twists on classics using seasonal fruits and regional pairings.

From 8 PM until the well runs dry, join us for ARTIFACT PRESENTS ATLAS: An iconic Bar Takes Hold. This unique experience will transplant Singapore’s glamorous ATLAS Bar (No.43, The World’s 50 Best Bars 2024) and its award-winning cocktails into the intimate narrative world of ARTIFACT.
