The August Line-Up Has Entered the Chat: Parliament Bar, Between Buns and Maggie’s Are Serving Up Cocktails, Collaborations and Plenty of Reasons to Drop By

Parliament, Between Buns Deli and Maggie’s
Maggie’s, Parliament Bar, and Between Buns Deli are keeping August anything but quiet, rolling out a month of limited-time collaborations, guest takeovers, and exclusive pours that bring together some of Singapore’s most exciting homegrown names.
Highlights include Parliament welcoming Chef Rishi Arora of Part Thai for a four-hands shift and Between Buns Deli heading into Club Rangoon’s kitchen for a special anniversary collaboration while expanding their own islandwide delivery through GrabFood, foodpanda, and larger-format catering. Maggie’s and Parliament Bar are also joining in on some local discoveries, and they become two of the exclusive venues pouring Tanglin Gin’s nostalgic White Rabbit Creamy Candy Vodka.
Whether you’re dropping in for a one-night-only collaboration, discovering a new cocktail, or simply settling in for a familiar meal, August is packed with reasons to revisit the trio. Together, Maggie’s, Parliament Bar, and Between Buns Deli continue to champion the kind of bold, community-driven experiences that keep guests coming back.
Parliament
Parliament is turning the volume back up, and because the best neighbourhood spots should always be within reach, this dive bar will officially be opening seven days a week from 11 August onwards. The mission remains unchanged: strong drinks, loud music, zero pretence, and absolutely no rip-offs. Cold beers, hot snacks, and the kind of night that starts with “just one drink” and ends with blurry photos and ringing ears.

Chef Rishi Arora [Part Thai] x Parliament Bar—Four-Hands
On 26 August, Parliament welcomes Chef Rishi Arora of Part Thai for a one-night four-hands shift that brings Thai heat, Indian heritage, and dive-bar chaos together under one roof. Known for his personal take on Thai cuisine through the lens of his Indian-Thai heritage, Chef Rishi brings three exclusive creations to the bar: Nachos ($16), Sai Oua Dog ($18), and Fish Burger ($20), each packed with the punchy, layered flavours that have become his signature.
Whether it’s a midweek escape, a post-work drink, or a last-minute catch-up that turns into a full night out, we’ll be here with cold drinks, loud tunes, and no reason to overthink it.

Parliament—Jefferson Airplane
Lastly, we’re getting nostalgic with the Jefferson Airplane ($20), our take on Tanglin Gin’s latest White Rabbit Creamy Candy Vodka collaboration. Built with White Rabbit Vodka, Cocchi Americano Bianco, and Salers Gentian, the cocktail brings childhood nostalgia into Parliament territory: a little unexpected, a little rebellious, and definitely not your average candy-inspired drink.

Between Buns Deli
There is a lot happening at Between Buns, with new ways to order, new additions to the menu and a special collaboration coming up this month.

Between Buns Deli Sandwiches and Melts
Getting your Between Buns fix is now easier than ever. Order ahead for pickup to skip the lunchtime queue, or have your favourites brought straight to you through our new in-house islandwide delivery service. We are also launching on GrabFood and foodpanda this month, giving you even more ways to order from wherever you are.
For bigger occasions, we now offer larger-scale catering for office lunches, events and group gatherings, with sandwiches, sides and plenty to share.
We have been busy adding to the menu too, with newer favourites including our Turkey Toastie ($16) and Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich ($7), alongside more specials and creations still to come.
Not forgetting that mornings at Between Buns now start with BYOB, our Build Your Own Breakfast menu, where you can put together your very own, ideal breakfast. Choose your pick from a selection of breads, eggs, proteins and sides.
And on 28 August, our Chef-Owner Ahmir Arshad will take over the kitchen at Club Rangoon for a special anniversary collaboration. Expect a one-off menu bringing together the big flavours, personality and playful spirit of both restaurants.

Maggie’s
Maggie’s has always had a weakness for the unexpected. Give us nostalgia, and we’ll dress it up. Give us a classic, and we’ll make it misbehave.

Maggie’s Singapore—Table Setting
Meanwhile, Aunties Have Lived: Edition 2 is still holding court. A fresh cast of cocktails inspired by women who remember your PSLE score, your first crush, and exactly what your mother said after two glasses of wine. They’re sweet, sharp, occasionally fiesty, and absolutely not here to be subtle.
Maggie’s continues to push familiar flavours into unexpected territory. Maggie’s Hae Mee ($28) showcases Long hollow fusilli, red prawn crudo, kaffir lime, dried shrimp, and chilli crumble. All the soul of prawn mee, but dressed for a night out and making absolutely no effort to behave. Roasted Xinjiang Lamb Ribs ($45) is smoky, cumin-slicked, and so tender you should probably lean in before it falls off the bone and embarrasses you. It’s the same Maggie’s attitude, just with a few new tricks up its sleeve.

Maggie’s—Decadent Doreen
This season, we welcome Decadent Doreen ($23), our latest collaboration with Tanglin Gin featuring their White Rabbit Creamy Candy Vodka, bringing childhood nostalgia into Maggie’s world with a little more glamour and a lot more attitude.
Made with White Rabbit Creamy Candy Vodka, Borghetti Coffee Liqueur, Cherry Brandy, and cinnamon-infused whipped cream, Decadent Doreen is sweet, rich, and unapologetically indulgent. She’s sweet, glamorous, and only here for a short time.
Some aunties leave leftovers. This one leaves stories.

Parliament stays loud. Between Buns stays craveable. Maggie’s stays gloriously difficult to categorise.
What they share is a belief that hospitality should have a pulse: food with personality, drinks with stories, and rooms that make people want to stay longer than planned.
So whether you’re chasing a $5 highball on a Tuesday, a breakfast muffin at 8AM, or a bowl of Maggie’s Hae Mee that makes you question every pasta you’ve had before it, August is giving you plenty of reasons to show up hungry. And probably leave a little later than intended.
