Club Rangoon Marks One Year with an Evolved Menu and Curated Natural Wines
Following the celebration of its first anniversary, Club Rangoon unveils a bold new chapter in its journey of modern Burmese cuisine with a refreshed menu. Building on beloved Yangon classics, the new dishes offer playful twists that are both familiar and inventive, resulting in dishes that are truly unique on their own terms. Designed to encourage sharing and conviviality, Club Rangoon invites diners to experience the Burmese way of dining—gathering around the table with friends to explore the interplay of flavours and textures, where the more, the merrier. The restaurant also introduces a new cocktail and wine programme, inspired by Burmese culinary traditions. Many of the drinks incorporate fermentation and pickling techniques, and feature ingredients commonly found in Myanmar, creating inventive cocktails that echo the boldness of the new menu.
A Hong Kong Homecoming: Club Rangoon x Venner
Formerly housed on Aberdeen Street, Club Rangoon is Hong Kong’s only Burmese restaurant and a name many food enthusiasts will recognize. Now based in Singapore, the restaurant returns to the city for a special two-day pop-up at Venner on Hollywood Road. On Friday, 24 October, and Saturday, 25 October, guests are welcomed to rediscover its bold, soulful, and creative take on modern Burmese cuisine. With two seatings available at 6PM and 8:15PM, the tasting menu (HKD 650 per person) showcases a curated selection of signature dishes from Club Rangoon’s newly refreshed menu, blending beloved Yangon classics with a refined contemporary touch.
A Slice Of Yangon: Club Rangoon x Club Chooby
For one day only, Club Rangoon will host a special pop-up with Chooby Pizza, marking Singapore’s first-ever Burmese-flavoured pizza collaboration. Titled Club Chooby: A Slice of Yangon, the one-day pop-up takes place exclusively at Club Rangoon on Saturday, 10 January from 5pm. Bringing together Club Rangoon’s contemporary interpretation of Burmese cuisine and Chooby Pizza’s boundary-pushing approach to naturally leavened pizzas, Club Chooby reimagines the flavours of Yangon in an unexpected yet thoughtful format. The collaboration introduces a lesser-seen cuisine in Singapore through one of the world’s most familiar comfort foods, without losing the integrity of its roots.
